Horse Riding Dartmoor has some of the best horse riding in the country. It covers more than 300 square miles and is the largest wilderness in the country. Riding on the moor is unrestricted and you can ride where there are no metalled roads and hardly any traffic. It is idea for both adventurous riders and novices - the stables on Dartmoor have horses for all abilities. |

Cycling If pedal power is your choice, Devon is the perfect base for you. Exciting off-road tracks, leisurely afternoon rides or challenging long distance routes - just take your pick. Skimming through wonderful scenery, unspoilt villages and wild moorlands - the sun on your back, the wind in your hair - you'll discover Devon for yourself !
